As I understand, Apocalypse Z is a game that uses the Battlefield Evolution Rules. Do I need to buy The basic rulebook too, or the Apocalypse Z has all the rules I need in it? As I live in Brazil(and please forgive my bad english), I can only buy the books online, and would prefer to buy all the books I need at once. They take a while to arrive... If I need to buy another book (the basic rules), what book exactly should I go for? Thank you very much!!!
Ps- Any help with the miniature selection would be very welcome, too.
Hello there nice to see Zombies are loved world wide. Our rulebook Apoc Z has the rules for Zombie units and the Enclave which is a group of human survivors. You will need Battlefield Evolution: Modern or Battlefield Evolution: WWII which contains the core ruleset for the game. The nice thing is that the Evo rules are the same in both books with just army lists different depending on time period. If you want to play the evo rules in modern day then the modern rules are the best since you can use stats for modern armies in your zombie games. I hope that helps and I know in some of the other threads are some great miniture finds by fellow goats and gamers.
Thanks for the fast answer! Yes, there are many zombie fans around here, even an annual Zombie Walk in Sao Paulo. I already have a few zombie games, like Zombie Plague an DOOM - TBG(well, it DOES have Zombies), and lots of miniatures of zombies and survivors.
Based on what I saw of your army lists, I plan an army heavy on Watcher units, with some cops and militia for support. Do you thing the Pig Iron line of Kolony Militia would do fine as Watchers?
For zombies, I already have a LOT, but always planning to buy a few more.... You'll never have enough zombies!
How many miniatures you sugest for a decent battle? For both sides, please?

PS- I like the idea of modern soldiers VS the zombie horde... So I can put a game of the Zombie Army list in Apocalypse Z vs any army list in the Battlefield Evolution: Modern, and still have a balanced fight? COOL!!!!(anybody said Yonkers?)
