I just picked Apocalypse Z and have a few rules questions.
Militia Units and the Corrections Officer in the penal unit list 12 gauge shotguns, but there is no listing for such in the armory. Is the 12 gauge a Benelli M2 Tactical Shotgun or a Magnum Shotgun?
Several units in the Zombie list have the individual trait, am I right in assuming this was meant to be the independent trait?
When mindless units join together in a move or charge action does this let them break the normal only 2 actions per unit rule? For example, 2 mindless units that start their turn within lethal range of each other would effectively get 4 actions each, since both would move or charge when the other activated.
Also once linked together in a move or charge action does each mindless unit have to stay within lethal range of another unit in the linked horde? This would mean that reactions are the only effective way to break away from each other.
The Zombie Hounds are the only multiple model unit in the zombie army without the mindless trait. Is this on purpose? Once below 50% starting unit strength are they out of command and only allowed to take reactions?
Thanks for any help in answering these questions.

I apologize for the delay answering your questions. I got a new computer and forgot my log in password.
A 12 gauge shotgun is the Benelli M2 Tactical shotgun.
You are correct it is supposed to be the independent trait.
When mindless units join together they are considered a single unit. As a single unit they only get 2 actions per turn.
You must always maintain unit coherency so once the mindless units are linked the stay linked until the opponent breaks the link by destroying units during his turn or in reaction.
Zombie hounds are intentionally without the mindless trait. They are however undead and apart of the zombie army. This means they can never by out of command.
