We've ben a bit silent lately, so I'll give a bit of an update...
1. Department 666... Kermit and I are still working out some of the basics. I've been tossing concept/style ideas around. The playtest phase is still a ways out, but I think the wait will be worth it. We want 666 to be unlike any other game out there. Since there are soooo many games out there, that's a tall order. I hope our mouths aren't writing checks our bodies can't cash, but I think we're working in the right direction. We wanna get this one right!
2. Apocalypse-D... after some unexpected delays in art and formatting, we're getting this one grinding. Since there's no possible way this would be ready in time for the holidays through Mongoose's Flaming Cobra imprint program. We're trying to get it done and potentially running a small number of print copies on our own in time for the holiday season. If there's enough demand, we'll do this. Of course, this route entirely depends on Mongoose actually releasing the BF Evo system resource documents as planned in November. If this ain't out, "D" is grounded as an independent product. We can circumvent the OGL if its produced through Mongoose (like Z), but not if we do it on our own.
3. Apocalypse-Z... I've confirmed that Mongoose has this on-time for the November release. Always good to hear. We've been able to get our errata and updates included in the full run. Once the full-release hits, we'll be posting "cut and stick" style errata PDFs for those who so kindly purchased the pre-release version. These PDFs will be formatted so that you can print them out on sticky-paper and drop it right into the book, should you so choose.
The Z-Swag sales are sluggish. I'd love some feedback as to why, if you have any. The pricing on the SWAG is largely governed by the base pricing of the gear by CafePress. The selection is driven also by their base-stock offerings. I'm hoping that we can produce some of our own SWAG in time for next spring/summer's convention season. If we do this, we'll post it up on the website for online ordering.
Well... that's about it in a nutshell. There's some cons coming up this fall/winter and we have some GoatHerder Volunteers out there armed and ready to un demo games and events. Keep checking back in the forums for dates and times.
